2.2 Health and fitness data

Depending on your device and the permissions you grant, the App may process health and fitness data to provide core functionality (training tracking and analysis), including:

• Workout and activity data
• Training duration and calories
• Body weight
• Heart rate (if available via platform integrations)

3. Google Fit (Android) NORM Connect

If you use NORM Connect on Android and explicitly grant permission, the App may:

• Write fitness data such as activity, body metrics, and sleep data to Google Fit so it can be viewed there.

4. Google Health Connect (Android) NORM GO

If you use NORM GO on Android and explicitly grant permission, the App may read and write health and fitness data using Google Health Connect, including activity, sleep, and body metrics.

5. Apple Health (iOS)

If you use the App on iOS and explicitly grant permission, the App may:

• Read health data from Apple Health (HealthKit)
• Write workout data to Apple Health (HealthKit)

6. Data storage and security

• All App data is stored locally on your device.
• We do not operate backend servers for personal or health data.
• We do not collect or store personal data centrally.
• You can delete all App data at any time by uninstalling the App.

Because data is stored locally, you are always in control of your information.

• The App does not display ads.
• The App does not use tracking for advertising.
• The App does not sell or share data with advertisers.
• The App does not use health data for marketing or profiling.

Google Fit integration and Limited Use disclosure (NORM Connect)

NORM Connect integrates with Google Fit to allow users to synchronize health and fitness data generated by their NORM smartwatch. With the user’s explicit permission, the app may write fitness data such as activity, body metrics, and sleep data to Google Fit so it can be viewed there. NORM Connect does not retrieve or read data from Google Fit.

Data accessed through Google Fit is used only to provide app functionality and for displaying health and fitness data. This data is not used for advertising, not sold, and not shared with third parties.

The use of information received from Google APIs by NORM Connect complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Google Health integration and Limited Use disclosure (NORM GO)

NORM GO integrates with Apple Health (iOS) and Google Health (Android) to allow users to synchronize health and fitness data generated by their NORM smartwatch.
